Vitamin D is an essential nutrient required for calcium and phosphorus metabolism. Skin can produce D when it is exposed to sunlight. In the winter, daylight hours are shorter and many horses tend to be blanketed. Therefore, Vitamin D synthesis within the horse’s body may be insufficient. The product also is suitable to complete the low levels of vitamin D in feeds (hay).

Daily dosage of 10 g incl:

D3 1000 IU

Ponies 5 g
Breeding mares 15 g
